Setelah ditunggu-tunggu akhirnya para fans berat K-ON, sudah bisa mengetahui ending manga nya dengan chapter terakhir berjudul "Grand Finale", namun banyak para fans yang menganggap bahwa ending ini sama sekali kurang menarik dan ada pula yang menganggap ini hanya omong kosong belaka dengan ending festival kampus yang membosankan dan kurang kejutan lainnya, walaupun bagian Mio menjadi Nekomimi Maid itu cukup menghibur.
Dan berikut adalah beberapa komentar fans yang kebanyakan kecewa dengan ending:
